Eljamon does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. 4. Phone Number Privacy

Phone numbers of contacts listed in the directory are partially masked for unauthenticated visitors. Only authenticated users can view full phone numbers. Your personal account phone number is never displayed publicly unless you choose to list yourself as a contact in the directory.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with encrypted connections. Authentication uses JWT tokens with RSA-4096 encryption. Passwords are not stored as we use phone-based verification only. We implement industry-standard security measures including rate limiting, brute-force protection, and input sanitization. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account using the "Forget Me" feature, your user record and associated submissions are permanently removed. Your contact listing, if any, is deactivated and unlisted but preserved for administrative review. Audit logs are retained for up to one year and then automatically purged.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

Eljamon uses browser local storage (not cookies) to store your authentication token and language preference. No third-party tracking cookies are used. No advertising networks are integrated into the Service.

8. Your Rights

• •Access: View your personal data through your profile page.
• •Correction: Update your name, photo, and other profile information at any time.
• •Deletion: Delete your account and associated data using the "Forget Me" feature.
• •Portability: Download a complete copy of all your personal data from the Dashboard, or export your contact information via vCard download.
• •Visibility Control: Choose whether your profile appears in the public directory and hide your listing at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Eljamon is operated from Canada. If you access the Service from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to and processed in Canada. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
